Norwegian has announced the launch of flights between Dublin and Hamilton, its first route from Europe to Canada.
Starting on March 31 2019, the daily service will be operated using brand new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
Fares start from €189 one way and are available to book from today.
“Today marks a milestone in Norwegian’s transatlantic expansion from Ireland as we announce the first ever direct route between Dublin and Hamilton – Toronto. This is also our first ever service between Europe and Canada,” said Norwegian CEO Bjorn Kjos.
Hamilton, Ontario, is less than 50-minutes by car from Toronto and one-hour from Buffalo New York and Niagara Falls.
Norwegian launched transatlantic services from Ireland in July 2017 with direct flights from Dublin, Shannon and Cork to the New York and Boston areas on the US east coast.
Norwegian will continue its growth at Dublin by continuing its summer 2018 schedule into the winter, with a double daily service to Stewart, New York and daily flights to Providence.
