Radisson Hotel Group has inked a strategic partnership with China’s Hainan Airlines.
The partnership will cover marketing and social media collaboration as well as conversion and redemption of their respective loyalty programs.
Members of Radisson Rewards can redeem points for flights on Hainan Airlines and nine other Greater China based carriers which are part of the Fortune Wings Club frequent flyer network.
Radisson Rewards members can also exchange points for Fortune Wings points.
The tie-up will be promoted via joint marketing initiatives and on social media channels including WeChat and Weibo.
Hainan Airlines’ parent China conglomerate HNA Group also owns a majority stake in Radisson Hotel Group.
“As a member of HNA’s family of brands, Radisson Hotel Group joins an extensive global network of like-minded companies, and brings its products and services to key feeder markets like China. We also look forward to opening our global hotel network to Fortune Wings Club members,” said Eric De Neef, Radisson’s global chief commercial officer.
Members can exchange points based on the conversion rate of 10 Radisson Rewards points equivalent for one Fortune Wings point.
Radisson Rewards members will get double points’ value if they convert their points to Fortune Wings before the end of July 2018.
Other airlines in the Fortune Wings loyalty network include Tianjin Airlines, Hong Kong Airlines, Lucky Air, Capital Airlines, Fuzhou Airlines and Urumqi Air.
