Turkish Airlines Lounge in Washington DC Wins Excellence Award
Turkish Airlines, flying to more countries than any other airline, has been awarded for its lounge which was opened last year atWashington Dulles International Airport in Washington DC. The lounge received the Excellence Award of 2017 by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), the largest construction industry trade association in the U.S.
The lounge welcomes passengers of Turkish Airlines and Star Alliance member airlines, as well as Priority Pass, Lounge Buddy and TAV Passport Card holders.

The 550-square-meter lounge stands out with its modern design and hosts 180,000 passengers every year. It has a seating capacity of 120 guests and offers Wi-Fi, snacks, kids play area, and a prayer and resting area.
Turkish Airlines has 18 lounges under the Turkish Airlines brand. Including the brand’s hub, Istanbul Ataturk Airport, there are twelve (12) lounges located in its domestic terminals and another three (3) as well located in its international terminals. Turkish Airlines also has branded lounges in capitals such as Moscow, Nairobi and Washington, DC and has plans to announce several other Turkish Airlines branded lounges throughout the world. When flying internationally with Turkish Airlines, Business Class passengers and Economy Class passengers with Miles&Smiles Elite Plus membership can make use of the lounges.
