MACAU, June 07, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ — The Estonian National Ballet’s production of the classic children’s story Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is heading to Macau in July for a short run at Centro Cultural Macau.
Performances will take place from July 13th to 15th, with shows due to start at 19:30 local time on the first two nights and 15:00 on the final day. Tickets range in price from 100 to 280 Macanese patacas (GBP7.80 to GBP22).
The romantic fairytale will be presented in a ballet interspersed with tap and folk dancing, as well as musical theatre elements.
Colourful costumes have been specially created for each individual dwarf and well-known characters such as the evil queen and Snow White herself.
According to the promoters, the production is sure to “entertain and move” youngsters and older theatre-goers alike.
A world-renowned performing arts organisation, the Estonian National Ballet is made up of 56 dancers and directed by Thomas Edur.
The company’s repertoire for the 2011-12 season also includes Othello, The Nutcracker and The Three Musketeers.
