The airline currently operates two services on the Delhi-Kathmandu sector, one a daily flight and the other operating six days a week, totaling 13 weekly frequencies on this sector. The β€œbee” is not merely a resort theme. The farm cares for a large colony of bees which are used to produce some of sweetest natural honey utilized for a number of applications and organic delights from breads and spreads to the guilty pleasures of chocolate and β€œbahalina,” a local honey wine.

The resort grows all of its organic fruits and produce, offering guided tours through its agricultural farms which are of educational benefit to adults as well as children.

Kyoto Winter Special Campaign

Free Shipping on Orders over $50Kyoto, Japan, is bringing its Winter Special campaign back this winter. Starting from Dec. 1, the four-month campaign is offering several time limited exhibitions, displays and other events all over Kyoto.

The Restaurant Winter Special, running through February, highlights Kyoto’s historic, famed and established restaurants that are usually relatively limited to the locals and regulars. The one-month Kyoto Restaurant Winter Special will introduce Kyoto’s most superior traditional meal to those who look for the special Kyoto experience and authentic Japanese essence that has been preserved in Japan. More than 100 local restaurants are participating in this campaign with prix fix menus at about $55 for lunch and $110 for dinner.

The Hanatouro (the Flower Lantern) is organized by both the city government and local volunteers, Hanatouro lanterns that are specially designed with Kyoto’s traditional materials such as limestone, bamboo and lacquered wood, are installed along streets, gardens and historic landmarks in Kyoto’s two major districts — Arashiyama (Dec. 11 to 20) and Higashiyama (March 13 to 22).

The city’s largest effort for the campaign is the special public viewing at historic facilities that are usually closed for preservation purposes. Kyoto’s historic treasures will be shared with the general public during the less busy winter season.

This winter, the city opens 11 temple facilities, art pieces and crafts that illustrate Japanese art magnificence from Jan. 9 through March 22 at 600 yen admission fees (300 yen for children under 12 years old).
