A new version of the mobile device application “SkiRaport”, prepared at the request of the Polish Tourist Organisation (POT), by the Association of Polish Skiing and Tourist Resorts, brings together 44 ski resorts in the Polish mountains. It highlights their offers and provides basic information such as operational ski-lifts, available pistes, opening times of slopes and trails, weather forecasts, and skiing conditions. It also contains links to online cameras, photo galleries, information about various destinations and how to get to them, the price of accommodation and contact details.
The latest version of the application has been prepared on the basis of information gathered during the previous skiing season, when the first version appeared. It also gives the opportunity for the resorts to present their promotional campaigns as each of them has access to an administrative portal through which relevant data can be entered or updated.
SkiRaport can be downloaded for free from the App Store or the Android Market. This application is available in three languages (Polish, English and Russian) and is suitable for mobile devices running Android or iOS systems. Its target group are the domestic and foreign visitors of Polish skiing resorts. According to estimates, in excess of 50,000 people will take advantage of this application during this year’s winter season.

The Collektion Hotels & Resorts is delighted to represent the award winning andel’s Hotel Lodz. A red brick façade serves as eye-catcher for the 4-star andel\’s Hotel Lodz. The location is an unusual one: a former textile mill on the grounds of the Manufaktura shopping, art and cultural centre in Lodz, Poland. The innovative architecture is a dynamic weave of colours and forms, glass and textiles, furniture and works of art. The design harmonises wonderfully in contrast with the historic substance of the building, creating a hotel experience with a high level of comfort and artistic attraction.
Besides the 277 design rooms, suites and long-stay apartments, the hotel also features a 3,100 m² conference and events centre with state-of-the-art equipment, modern architecture and the largest ballroom in the city of Lodz (capacity 800 people).

Cheryl Powell, Chief Operating Officer of TUI Marine, remarked, “Le Boat provides the best in self-drive cruising for its customers, so we are excited to represent the best in luxury, all-inclusive barging with Afloat in France.
We promise to bring the best to our customers and with this partnership we will; whether guests choose to experience the leisurely pace of waterways cruising by doing it themselves or being taken care of by the professional crew.”
With Afloat in France, guests will be pampered aboard the most exclusive and lavish barges, or peniche-hotels as they are locally known, to navigate the French waterways.
Each individually designed peniche-hotel is distinguished by spacious, opulent facilities that include, on certain barges, heated swimming pools and sun deck areas offering 360-degree views, as well as full entertainment systems, internet access, large lounge areas and many more on-board comforts.
This is an all-inclusive cruising experience, and the barges may be reserved on a “private hire” or “per cabin” basis.
Either option includes all meals, beverages and excursions, plus airport transfers by first-class, high-speed train or private chauffer.
With a capacity of four to 12 guests across the fleet, it is truly a unique way to cruise the canals. For larger parties, two or more barges may be reserved to travel in tandem.
All five barges offer a high crew-to-guest ratio with specially trained crew, who are dedicated to ensuring each guest receives extraordinary service and are fluent in two or more languages.
A personal guide will introduce guests to the region’s most renowned vineyards, architectural landmarks, activities and local traditions. A cordon bleu chef will prepare superb cuisine, including Continental breakfast, lunch and five candlelit dinners served in the dining room or sundeck. Complimentary drinks, including alcohol, are served by the hostess throughout the day.
A variety of journeys are available in the cruising season from April to October, including travel around Cote d’Or, Burgundy, Franche-Comte, Saone Provence, Vallee du Rhone, Canal du Midi and the Loire region.
There is also opportunity to spend time in Paris or other nearby cities.
Cruising through some of the country’s finest waterways, guests will be delighted by themed excursions and activities led by experts in their fields. All excursions are tailored to the personal requirements of each guest or group, including family adventures, ballooning, culinary tours, wine tasting, golf retreats, Le Semaine des Grands Crus (wine sampling from each of the 33 Grands Crus domaines of Burgundy) and many other cultural experiences.
