Yoga at Ushvani caters for all levels and abilities and all classes are led by master practitioners, expert in their individual field. Whether you are a beginner, have an injury or you prefer to have individual attention Ushvani offers a selection of differing yoga styles, classes and instructors. You can also indulge further with an Ushvani treatment after your session, the best way to relieve tension and relax muscles.
Weekly Shri Vivek Yoga Class
Every Tuesday at 6.45pm (starting 9th January 2018)

Shri Vivek is a traditional concept originating in India and based on master Shri Guruji Swami Vivekananda’s teachings. Shri Vivek yoga is designed to integrate all the techniques of yoga to restore physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
Instructor Ishat’s classes are founded on the four pillars of Yoga – asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), kriyas (a sequence of physical and mental changes), sutras (knowledge). Ishat teaches from a holistic perspective engaging body, mind and reducing stress through developing an inner awareness in students. At each level of ability this practice is designed to ease the stresses of modern living through the ongoing development of spiritual and physical balance.

Private classes are available with all three of Ushvani’s instructors. As well as the Shri Vivek with Ishat Ushvani also offer Vinyasa sessions with Emily and Deepa.
The powerful Vinyasa method combines Asanas (poses) and Pranyamas (breathing) to reduce mental fatigue, quiet the mind and strengthen the body. The techniques applied in Emily’s classes are designed to develop students in a supportive environment allowing the full benefits of yoga to be realised.
Deepa’s classes are Vinyasa based with emphasis on integrated breathing and movement, allowing precise alignment so inner and outer strength can be sustained.
Throughout each class Deepa adapts her approach to the individual needs of each student.
Light and spacious, with its fine wood panelling and ornate, high ceilings, the Sentosa Studio is a peaceful and splendid sanctuary in which to retreat from the hectic world outside and give yourself over to the disciplines of yoga.
