The MacCallum House Inn and Restaurant, the Mendocino Village Inn and the MacCallum Suites (former the Reed Manor), which operate under the same ownership in California and are within walking distance of each other, have completed upgrades and expansions costing more than $2 million.
Upgrades include restoration and renovation of the historic barn, the water tower and the attic suite. Remodels include hardwood floors, hand-plastered walls, luxury baths and original local art. The gardens and restaurant have also been updated and accommodate weddings for up to 200 people.
Room upgrades include the addition of high-speed, wireless Internet, flat screen TVs DVDs, phones, refrigerators, L’Occitane bath soaps, and luxury mattresses and linens. Concierge service and in-room spa services are available. Pets and children are welcomed throughout the properties. In addition, guests now receive full-service breakfast and an evening dining voucher in the restaurant.
In addition, the properties offer Mendo Wine Tours and Limousine Service. The guided tours take guests on daylong trips to Anderson Valley’s boutique vineyards and wineries, providing an insider’s look at this appellation, known for Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc.
