Booking.com has rolled out its ‘Booking Experiences’ tours and activities platform.
It is now live in US cities New York, Miami, San Francisco and Los Angeles with more to follow later this year including Boston, Las Vegas and Seattle.
The first phase includes 60 destinations globally.
To kick off the launch Booking.com teamed up with DJ Khaled to highlight its event ticket service and customers can book exclusive, complimentary tickets and meet & greets during DJ Khaled’s sold-out North American tour where Booking Experiences is available.
“Deciding what to do while you’re traveling can be an extremely time-consuming and stressful task that takes away from your overall experience in a destination. With Booking Experiences, we’ve curated the top things to do in New York City, San Francisco, Miami and Los Angeles, with more U.S. cities on the way, and have negotiated great deals for our customers,” said Ram Papatla, VP, Experiences at Booking.com.
“We are thrilled to be working with DJ Khaled to celebrate how Booking Experiences seamlessly helps our customers enjoy whatever they want to do, whenever they want to do it.”
When customers book accommodations, they are forwarded an email offering booking access to relevant venues and attractions in the destination via their own unique QR code.
This offers skip the line access on the day for tours and experiences by simply scanning their smartphone code on arrival.
Booking Experiences is managed through a personalized landing page for each registered customer and does not need to redirect to a third-party website.
The service is available in 43 languages.
