Chalet specialist ski holiday company Ski Total has launched some accommodation-only offers for skiers wanting to take advantage of the recent snowfall in the Alps.
The Ski Club reports excellent conditions in the central European Alps with the forecast predicting plenty more snow across Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland in the coming weeks.
Meribel has seen 140cm of fresh snow in the last week and is currently boasting triple its average amount of December snow on upper pistes and double the amount on lower pistes.
With further snow expected this and next week, conditions are likely to remain excellent over New Year and into early January.
Ski Total is offering seven nights at the four-star plus Chalet le Meleze Dore, Meribel, on a chalet catered basis for £450 per person, departing January 7.
Over a meter of snow had fallen in Avoriaz over the past week, with more on the way. There is now 140cm of snow settled on the upper pistes and a metre on the lower pistes.
