Sun-seekers in search of a last-minute getaway in Andalusia can take advantage of free night offers during June at award-winning luxury bolt-hole DDG Retreat.
The adults-only boutique hotel, perched above the picturesque pueblo blanco of Casares, has recently been named as Lux Magazine’s Most Outstanding Luxury Escape Spain for 2018 and Trip Advisor reviewers consistently rate this unique hidden gem as Excellent. Now couples seeking a romantic refuge away from the hustle and bustle yet looking to be conveniently located for some of the region’s many attractions, can enjoy great discounts if they stay before the end of the month.
DDG Retreat guests can choose from just three casitas – Royal, Maharja and Pino – dotted amongst this four-hectare wooded estate. Enjoying far reaching views over North Africa, Gibraltar and Spain below, Royal and Maharja are tented super-suites that come complete with stylish interiors, marble floors, chandeliers and air conditioning. Royal even has its own home cinema screen. Maharja also has an outdoor bath perfect for star gazing and a kitchen for preparing light meals. For guests who prefer a more traditional casa, Pino is an artisan cottage full of character and colour, with its own plunge pool. Outdoors at each, there is either a hot tub or plunge pool for exclusive use and private terraces where you can lounge in the sunshine during the day and watch unforgettable sunsets in the evening.
All casas have pre-stocked wine fridges, Nespresso machines and there’s a choice of pillow menu. Guests have complimentary access to a shared infinity pool (named as one of the most glamourous in the world by Red magazine); a tennis court, mini-gym, hammam and sauna and there is also a spa cabanah set amongst the trees where you can enjoy indulgent pampering treatments. Home cooked breakfasts (served with cava) are an optional extra and sharing platters, delivered to your door, are available for your choice of lunch or dinner.
Offers are currently available on the DDG Retreat website – but lead in price on an accommodation-only basis for a four nights stay at Casa Pino before the end of June is 547 euros per person based on two sharing (including one free night offer).
