One of Naples’ top on-the-water experience providers – Pure Florida – is now hosting monthly Yoga Cruises on the beach at Keewaydin Island – a quiet and beautiful barrier island a short boat ride through scenic Naples Bay from the Pure Florida docks at Tin City. Pure Florida’s Island Yoga Cruises are taught by Gus Komninos, owner and director of Yoga House Naples. Admission to Pure Florida’s Island Yoga Cruise is $49 plus tax per guest. Naples Beach Brewery offers “Yoga on Tap,” a class that brings inner peace and a nice cold beer together for an experience that promotes wellness and enjoyment. From beginner to expert, all levels are invited to attend the one-hour yoga class, followed by a delicious craft beer. Tickets are $20 per person and half of proceeds go to a non-profit organization. Yoga on Tap is usually offered once per month.
On one Sunday each month, Naples Zoo hosts an animal-themed yoga class that is available to all yoga levels and ages. Participants of this class can find Zen while doing numerous yoga poses in the tranquility of a natural environment. A portion of the proceeds benefits Naples Zoo education and conservation programs. Tickets are $12 and children under age 3 are free.
Taking place in an amphitheater surrounded by an ancient forest filled with bald cypress trees, this meditation class offers an experience to discover relaxation and serenity. Class participants will hear nothing but the sounds of birds and wildlife and the swaying of tree limbs as they meditate to find inner peace. Admission to class is $20.
On the first Sunday of every month Southern Latitudes hosts the “Class and a Glass” event. Participants can enjoy an hour of yoga followed by a 10 oz. beer or 6 oz. glass of wine for $20.
Participants of this class can enjoy a one-hour yoga session as well as a pint of beer for $20. Classes are held on Saturday mornings at 11:00 a.m. and taught by local teachers from Revival Yoga Fitness Studio.
A Naples favorite for wining and dining, The French recently began hosting a variety of Brunch and Burn events, offering yoga in the restaurant’s front courtyard or guided workouts at a nearby fitness club. Participants are then rewarded with a delicious brunch featuring indulgent classics like Croque Madame and Pan Perdu as well as health-minded selections like Roasted Faroe Salmon. Prices depend on the fitness activity offered, typically ranging from $30 to $45 including both the workout and brunch. Brunch and Burn will continue through the summer.
