Wyndham Hotel Group has opened its latest urban lifestyle hotel, TRYP by Wyndham, in Miami’s Bay Harbor Islands, its fifth hotel in the U.S.
The newly-constructed, 96-room hotel has a heated rooftop pool and bar with 360-degree views of the waterways, beach and surrounding area.
One- and two-bedroom suites have scenic views and access to the hotel’s fitness center and lobby lounge, which are scheduled to open later this year, along with a signature Gastro Pub offering tapas, or small plates, inspired by the brand’s Mediterranean roots.
“We are focused on growing the TRYP by Wyndham brand throughout the U.S. in destinations with character and charm that travelers want to discover,” said Mark Kukulski, president, Wyndham Hotel Group Management.
“TRYP by Wyndham Miami Bay Harbor – with its prime waterfront location and Miami flair – is the perfect example of a unique destination not always uncovered by travelers, offering guests a chance to confidently cruise their way around the Bay Harbor Islands, a slice of Miami adored by locals.”
Florida remains a focus for the brand with several hotels in the pipeline in Fort Lauderdale, Coral Gables, Orlando and Kissimmee.
Across the US, the brand is expanding with approximately 30 hotels and more than 4,000 rooms in the pipeline and highly anticipated openings planned for Long Island City, N.Y; El Paso, Texas; Macon, Ga.; and Newark, N.J
