In the heart of downtown Napa, a premier destination for wellness, sits The Westin Verasa Napa, which offers a slate of amenities targeted to guests’ wellbeing. Beginning the first week of April, the wellness property will introduce a Zumba Concierge to its roster of fitness concierges and programming. A certified Zumba instructor, Fernando Salinas, can teach adult Zumba classes on Monday and Friday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Twenty-four hours’ notice is required to request a class, which will cost $10 (charged to the guest room).
Additionally, a running concierge is available to develop the ideal outdoor exercise routes for visitors. The Yoga Concierge service offers yoga classes by reservation on Saturday mornings at 9:00 a.m. on the patio. Yoga mats are available to borrow at the fitness studio. The service is complimentary to all hotel guests during their stay, and private lessons can be arranged for a fee of $75 at a preferential time.
The resort’s new Fitness Redemption Program encourages guests to win SPG points by completing 15,000 steps per day, which must be tracked on a wearable fitness device like a Fitbit®. Upon hitting the 15,000 step mark, travelers must then post an image of the number of steps achieved to their Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram profiles using the hashtag #WestinNapaWellness and geotagging The Westin Verasa Napa. Participants will obtain 1,000 SPG points per reservation per day and can collect up to 5,000 total SPG points per stay. At the end of each quarter, the guest who posted the most steps over the past three months will attain an additional 5,000 SPG points.
With the WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio, The Westin Verasa Napa’s 24-hour gym, guests can stay in shape even while they are on the road. If they prefer to travel lightly, Westin’s New Balance Gear Lending Program provides athletic shoes and apparel during the stay for just $5.
