World Ski & Snowboard Festival Brings the Beats, ART + Soul:
April 10-15, 2018
The World Ski and Snowboard Festival (WSSF) has unveiled its entertainment lineup, with A Tribe Called Red and Jazzy Jeff kicking up a music storm during Big Air over the weekend. Catch these free events at the base of Whistler Mountain. Mountain Magic presents The END, the finale party of the winter on Saturday, April 14, features international DJs spinning as hard as the athletes, lighting production, dancers, and art installations.
ART + Soul will continue the opportunity for local artists to share their work, exposing the underbelly of mountain culture, going beyond landscapes and wildlife. Through multiple mediums and dimensions, the artwork will encompass everything from canvases to skateboards inspired by nature, sport, and the belief that there are no boundaries. The free exhibit kicks off with an opening après party on Tuesday, April 10 from 3:30 – 6:30 pm, and continues April 11 – 13 from 12 – 6 pm daily.
WSSF brings together a unique mix of snow sports, arts, music, and mountain culture with filmmaker and photography showdowns, art exhibits, and speaker events.
