Hot on the heels of Disney’s price hike last week comes Universal, with its own increase.
Most single day one-park tickets rise by $5 at both Universal Orlando and Universal Hollywood Studios.
That takes prices up $120 at Universal Hollywood Studios and $115 at Universal Orlando.
There is also an across-the-board increase of $5 for single day park-to-park tickets, up to a $20 rise for a five-day pass.
The cost of annual passes at both parks remains the same as does entry to the new Volcano Bay aqua park.
Universal operates a tiered pricing structure based on the expected visitor numbers so day-to-day admission costs can vary.
Disney also has a similar system at some parks with seasonal and date specific Value, Regular and Peak prices.
Disney last week announced hikes for California and Florida parks, raising the price of single one-park entry to as much as $135 for a peak day at Disneyland Resort.
