SeaWorld Orlando has announced its new water park attraction at Aquatica will open at the weekend.
New 60-feet tall raft ride Ray Rush opens on May 12, and has a first of its kind combination of enclosed tube sections, an open-air halfpipe and large sphere.
The manta ray-themed ride can accommodate up to up to four people in a single raft.
It is one of several new attractions as the company moves towards a more conventional theme-park experience.
Last week, SeaWorld said its planned Sesame Street land will open next year with daily parades, character meet-and-greets and wet and dry play areas.
SeaWorld Orlando president Jim Dean said: “Sesame Street at SeaWorld Orlando is an amazing addition to our park, providing more unique and memorable experiences for the entire family.”
